Introducing THE LIGHTKEEPER

The Lightkeeper blog warns local governments of the dangers to their network & data and leads them to safety by presenting solutions that will protect them

The inspiration behind our our corporate logo and The Lightkeeper blog comes from the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. It is on her shores that seven coastal lighthouses keep a silent vigil, warning travelers of the dangers near at hand and leading them to safety. Before the age of automation, these lighthouses were kept by the dedicated men and women of the United States Lighthouse Service. Under their watch, countless lives, ships and goods were spared from disaster.

The Lightkeeper blog aspires to a similar mission, to warn local governments of the dangers to their network & data and to lead them to safety by presenting solutions that will protect them from these dangers. It will do so by covering the terrain outside the network, inside the network and at its perimeter. It will also cover the overwatch of all three together. If you see a topic missing or would like one to be covered in more depth please let us know. It is our hope that the articles you find here help you understand the dangers and the way to safety. If they do we would ask that you share your experience here so that we may all learn together.
